Level 6 (FET) Early Childhood Awards

If you have a Level 6 (FET) Early Childhood Award and are thinking of upskilling to a Level 7 Award, this open evening is specifically suited for you.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) allow applicants with previous learning to secure advanced entry or exemptions on the Level 7 Bachelor of Arts in Montessori Education. In effect, once you present evidence of prior learning, you will not be required to repeat this learning. This evidence may be based on certified learning (with other colleges) or experiential learning (based on the length and type of experience you have) While every effort is made to ensure that the process is simple, very often applicants are challenged by the nature of evidence sought to support their applications and are ‘turned off’ by the process. This is not right as Level 7 and 8 Awards become more important within the early years sector.

Saint Nicholas Montessori College Ireland (SNMCI) will host an open evening to take potential applicants through its Recognition of Prior Learning application process. Each step will be explained to you, along with examples of the type of evidence required. The session will be driven by applicants, with small group sessions working through your queries and any clarifications you are seeking.

Details of the Open Evening are as follows:
DATE: 21 March 2018
TIME: 1830hrs
LOCATION: Saint Nicholas Montessori College Ireland,
16 Adelaide Street,
Dún Laoghaire
A96 H5P3

You will also be taken through the costs and requirements associated with undertaking the Bachelor of Arts in Montessori Education.

We look forward to meeting you.
