Confirmation of Attendance

You have already received your letter of invitation.  Please respond via e-mail, confirming your attendance, and 2 guests to: by 25th October.


All Graduates must attend in appropriate academic costume, it is every student’s responsibility to ensure that they have ordered the required gown and hood.

On behalf of our Graduates the college has secured the services of an Academic Robe Company to ensure that all epitogues/hoods for the validating body are assigned correctly.  Academic dress must be hired from the official robemakers to the College, Phelan Conan & Associates, who are in attendance at all conferring ceremonies.  Cost of hiring academic dress is €40.  Graduates must book gown hire on-line at:  Gowns will be available to book from 6th October to 6th November.

Venue and Timing

This year’s graduation will take place on 10th November in The Maritime Museum, Dun Laoghaire.  As there are three ceremonies, please see your letter confirming the time of your ceremony.

Members of staff will organise Graduates in the College and in The Maritime Museum, for robing, for seating during the ceremony and for receipt of parchments.  Please co-operate with the staff during this process.

Should any of your guests have specific access requirements i would be grateful if you could advise us as soon as possible and the College will endeavor to facilitate their requirements.

Invitation Guidelines

Due to space restrictions, we must limit the number of guests to 2 per student.


Dermot Byrne Photography ( will be in attendance.  You will be able to get booking forms from a member of staff when you arrive for robing.
